The Emerald City Grill Story

Founders, Heather Buchele and Dennis Roland, opened Emerald City Grill in Sedro Woolley, Washington on February 02, 2010. Both Heather and Dennis have over 30 years combined experience in the hospitality industry. Heather has worked for several hospitality firms in Washington State and has local ties to the Sedro-Woolley area.  Dennis grew up in small town, in both, the mountains of North Carolina and the plains of Nebraska. This is where Heather and Dennis learned firsthand the value of excellent down home hospitality and community.

The Emerald City Grill menu features selections made fresh from scratch using only the highest quality ingredients – which come together to create our extraordinary flavors. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we offer a selection of fresh cut prime steaks, slow cooked baby back pork ribs that melt in your mouth, specialty salads such as the steak and blue cheese or pecan chicken salad, blackened chicken alfredo made with our handcrafted alfredo sauce, or shrimp and fish and chip made with our special beer batter.  In addition, our burgers are made with 100 percent ground chuck and are never frozen. Emerald City Grill is famous for our generous portions that are ideal for sharing or taking home for a late night snack. In addition, whether you are dining at our restaurant or having us cater one of your events, you’ll find that we have dishes to suit every taste and budget. Our custom catering services are just what you are looking for when it comes to your corporate events, weddings, reunions, boxed lunches, office meetings, graduations, cook outs, you name it!

Moreover, our bar is a comfortable gathering place to relax after a day at work, to catch a game or share an appetizer or enjoy dining with friends. The bar menu features signature cocktails such as, chilled martinis, premium and ultra premium spirits, excellent wine’s, and ice cold tap and bottled beers. When you step inside Emerald City Grill you will discover an environment that is warm and comfortable. The interiors of our restaurant feature large local Fir logs and natural and finished woods.
